The Director of Military Operations and Intelli-

gence presents his compliments to the Director of Air Operations and Intelligence, and has the honour to forward a copy of a telegram which has been received from the General Officer Commanding, South China Command, regarding an application by the Canton Aviation Bureau to inaugurate

a 10 day experimental air mail and passenger service

between Canton and Hong Kong.

Major General Charles would be glad to know if Air Commodore Newall concurs in the proposed reply to the General Officer Commanding, a copy of which is attached.
